Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Ho on 19 November 1972, in London. Her birthplace was in London to an Chinese mother and French father. At the age of five the family relocated from China to Canada. The model was from Paris and catwalks before her first venture as an actress. Annuka made her acting debut in Black Robe of 1991. In recognition of this performance, she received a nomination in the Genie Award - the Canadian Oscar.
